STILL Great Basketball Experience 3rd Edition

Third time we're doing this, and the idea hasn't changed: put a lot of great coaches in one gym and let the players feel what that's like.

This year there are fourteen of us from nine countries — Belgium, Canada, Spain, France, Slovenia, Italy, Greece, the USA, and six from Luxembourg. Every one of them teaches it a little differently, because they learned it somewhere different.

That's the whole point. A player who only ever hears one voice starts to think there's one way to do it. Take what works for you, leave the rest — that's a skill too, and it's one that lasts longer than any drill.

Saturday and Sunday are skills days. Small groups, a lot of reps, coaches who will actually correct you instead of letting you get through it. Monday we play. That's deliberate — two days of work, then a day to find out…
